Published

Hi everyone, I know, I know, it's been forever since my last post.  Didn't really have too much to say but I want to let you all know that my middle grade early reader, A June Snowstorm in Maine, has been published on Kindle.  No cover art yet still working on it.  When you go to the Kindle store please take a look, at $2.99 it's a great price for something your child should enjoy.

Hope everyone has a great week.

Until next time, read a book and go on an adventure

Oh and my daughter has gone back to school and graduates today hate crowds I'm clostrophobic so I hope I tolerate this well.

D- Day

Well, I have an agent, he submitted my query to some very good publishers, he has had 3 requests and I'm biting my teeth.

I finished my revisions, made sure my chapters were sequential and pressed send to give it to my agent.

My heart is in my throat, but other than that I feel fine.  I like what I did and have another 2 wips

Wish me luck, I can use it.

Happy Writing everyone!

What do you do?

Have you ever had a night that you are in a half wake half sleep mode and this idea just pops into your mind?  What do you do about it? Do you lay there awake until you can't go back to sleep?  Do you get up and write down what it is that popped into your head and hope you can connect the dots the next morning?  Or do you say to heck with it and turn over and go back to sleep?

My best ideas have come from those ideas that just "pop" into my head in the middle of the night.  I had one last night as a matter of fact.  I got up wrote down enough that I would be able to connect the dots, then turned over and went back to sleep.  Even now, without my notes in front of me I can see clearly what I had to write down.  Now, that doesn't always happen, sometimes I tell myself I'll remember it in the morning but I don't.

The first "dream pop idea" helped me write my ya paranormal Willow Brook.  While I haven't found a title for this idea, I know it will come.  It will come when its willing to reveal itself to me.

So fellow bloggers chose your poison and work out what you would do.

until next time...

Agent

Hi all,  I just signed with a wonderful agent Steve Hutson out of Lancaster CA!  He liked Willow Brook.  Like I keep hearing it only takes one person to like what you have and you are in business!  I submitted on a Thursday and he called me Friday.  Can't wait to see what kind of changes he wants.  I'm easy to work with and take suggestions seriously.

In the meantime I am working on my next novel, The Letchens-horrible beasts out to destroy mankind on a different planet.  Chapter one down, working on chapter 2.

Now what are the words to that song?  "I'm so excited and I just can't hide it....."

Will update as things progress.

Will Janet Marely stay and help her cousin?  Will Willow Brook and all her citizens disappear?  What would you do if you were sent back in time?

Hi everyone

I know, I know, it's been forever since I've posted on my blog, but trust me I have been working very hard.  I have fantastic news but can't share it yet.  Bummer.  Don't you hate it when some tells you they have a secret but can't share it with you?  Well this is where we are.

Have I ever mentioned Janet Marley to you?  No?  You'll be hearing a lot about her soon.  Have a great weekend everyone and I'll try to come back more often.
